Introduction
Xavier is the most experienced mage in the Spiral Spire. He used to be an orphan in the slum, but he later entered the Spiral Spire to study magic. One day, he accidentally unsealed a black ghost from an ancient book, which claimed to be the demon king. Since then, the demon king and Xavier started to inhabit the same body. This uncomfortable situation has lasted for 7 or 8 years. They hated each other, but had no choice but to get along.

- Ladies of Finsel, you've all been involved in Finsel's recent fashion trend. As for the Fashion Magic, the Spiral Spire has offered lots of technical and personnel support. To have your trust is our greatest honor. But given the contradiction between the rapid consumption of magic materials and you ladies' ever-changing need to become more beautiful, and to avoid queuing like today again, after careful consideration, the Spire decides to introduce enchanted badges. Those who defeat their opponents at the Spiral Spire will acquire Magic Badges. There is no upper limit to the number of badges one can have. And by having the appropriate number of badges, one can enchant their clothes. This is inspired by the battle between Lynna Jorcastle and Magda Ellenstein. Thanks again to both of you. - Noblewomen make up flimsy excuses to see Xavier.[2]
- His apprentice's name is Ilan[3] in the story mode, Iran in the event quest, and the partner accessory is named Eran.[4]
- Ilan's "gift" to Xavier, for his birthday, is for Magda Ellenstein to listen to Xavier's confession. Xavier vehemently denies any chances of a confession happening, stating that he isn't "smooth enough" for that.[5]
- Black Shadow would often tease Xavier about his crush on Magda, leading to a flustered Xavier trying to shut him up.
- Although Xavier can mute Black Shadow, he doesn't do it often as it doesn't last very long.
- Black Shadow is seen to be quite protective of Xavier; notably when the Seasonal Goddesses in the Snow Festival Event fight for Xavier as they want him as a "sacrifice" since he is a "pretty boy". Black Shadow then appears and stops the fight, vaguely threatening them if they dared take him away from Black Shadow. The Goddesses back down in the end, leaving Xavier alone.
- In Xavier's Magic Shop, he gives the player (Magda) advice on how to defeat opponents in Beauty Contests. The items mentioned (Lightning Spiral and Finger of Death) happen to be deadly weapons.
- Xavier is a painter, sculptor and an author.[6][7][8]
- He is the author of the popular romance novel Romantic Mage and Lovely Young Lady (also called Romantic Mage & Cute Lady or The Handsome Mage and The Pretty Noble).[9][10][11]
- Despite it's widespread popularity, the book was banned by the Spiral Spire.[12]
